Evan is kind of hilarious at Christmas. He's at that stage where he doesn't quite know what is going on but he does understand opening presents. Mom says I was exactly the same at his age and haven't changed since. She's joking. Mainly. He does not, however, like Santa. I took him down to the mall the other week and the moment he saw him he burst into tears. Mom is still adamant that he's like me.
Christmas morning the living room was awash with coloured paper. How much stuff does one little boy need? A lot apparently. Bowie had a brilliant time, too. Lost in the sea and tearing it up like crazy.
Best thing about Christmas though? The food. Without a doubt.

[block; close friends minus Gemma/Cal anyone who would tell them]Cal's been round more than usual. Shit has hit the fan and, of course, Gem has to deal with it. They're talking about the future of the band. I feel like a prick wanting it to be the end, she's worked so hard on it, I'm proud of her for that but I'm sick of watching her making it when I stay at home everything has to come to an end at some point.
It'd kill Gemma to lose the band, she loves it so much. Probably kill Cal too but I guess I understand why he's considering it. I gave up my career for Evan. It's what you do. [/block]
I forgot how shit it is clean up after animals. Puppies should come pre-trained. He is cute though.
